The beginning of OMNIMPEX group of companies dates way back in early 90's, starting with OMNIA S&M, followed soon after by OMNIMPEX LTD., which developed sooner in OMNIMPEX CHEMICALS LTD. and OMNIMPEX AGRO-INDUSTRIAL LTD., all of them being founded by hardworking entrepreneurs with large experience in the international trade of fertilizers and other chemical products.

Short while after set-up, our companies became leading players on the Romanian market of fertilizers, performing exports of such products mainly in Europe, Africa and Asia

After such successful take off, a business development became obviously necessary and that's why OMNIMPEX GROUP decided to acquire the major stock shares of STEAUA ROMANA Refinery and BUSTENI Paper Factory.

Although both companies, at the moment of acquisition, were passing through tough moments, in a reasonably short period of time a better and inventive management, accompanied by investments and restructuring programs, made possible for STEAUA ROMANA Refinery and BUSTENI Paper Factory to enter on the right path, thus showing profits and becoming capable to face strong competition either on the domestic or foreign market.

In the same time with the Group’s involvement in petroleum and paper industry, exports of fertilizers were continued on a larger scale, reaching at this moment levels of multimillion US Dollars per annum.

Omnimpex Group can offer to our foreign customers a wide range of petroleum and chemical products such as various types of combustibles (gas oil, fuel oil, straight run naphtha, V.G.O., paraffin, wax, solvents), ammonium based fertilizers (urea, ammonium nitrate, N.P.K., C.A.N., etc.), cellulose based paper products (for writing, printing, packing, purpose, various exercise book and cardboards, hygienic paper, creped papers, etc.) or any other kind of products for which there’s demand, together also with high standard services in contact’s performing.
